MRS FIELD’S CHOCOLATE MUFFINS

MRS FIELD’S CHOCOLATE MUFFINS

12 oz semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped,
1 stick unsalted butter
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup sifted cake flour
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
4 large eggs
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 t vanilla
1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
1/4 cup white chocolate chips.

1.Preheat oven to 350*.

2.Line muffins cups with paper liners and lightly oil the top surface.

3.Melt the chopped semisweet chocolate with the butter in a double boiler or microwave, stir until smooth. remove from heat and stir in sour cream.

4.Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.

5.Beat the eggs and sugar in a large bowl with electric mixer about 5 minutes.

6.Beat in the chocolate mixture and vanilla.

7.Add the flour mixture and 1 cup of the semisweet chocolate chips.

8.Spoon the batter evenly into prepared cups.

9.Top with remaining 1/4 cup semisweet chips, nuts and the white chips. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until centers are set.

10.Set the muffin tin on a wire rack to cool for 15 minutes.

11.Then remove muffins to cool completely.
