Garlic Pepper Potato Rolls (The complete BREAD MACHINE BOOK P.144)

Ingredients (make 8-12)
1. egg 1
2. milk 3tbsp
3. mashed potatoes 1/2cup
4. vegetable oil 2tbsp
5. sugar 1tbsp
6. cloves garlic, minced 2
7. fresh-ground black 1 1/2tsp
8. salt 1tsp
9. bread flour 2 cups
10. yeast 1 1/2 tsp
11. milk 2tbsp


Put all ingredients except 2tbsp milk in bread pan in order suggested by your bread machine instructions. Set for white bread, dough stage. Press Start.

Lightly oil an 8 or 9-inch square pan.

When dough is ready, remove from bread machine and punch down. Cut into 8-12 equal pieces. Roll each round. Place balls about 1/2 inch apart in baking pan. Cover loosely and set in a warm place to rise until doubled, 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 375 F. Lightly brush tops of rolls with milk. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until rolls are golden an a skewer inserted in roll comes out clean.
